Tangail Circle

To establish a circle in each district, the then General Secretary of the Bangladesh Motor Parts and Tyre Tube Business Association, Mr. Anisur Rahman, along with other central officials, held a meeting with tyre and motor parts businessmen in Tangail. The Tangail businessmen agreed on the need to form a unit to remain well-organized and united in the market. In 1986, a five-member convening committee was formed. The convener of this committee was the late Abdul Gafur Siddiqui, and the member-secretary was Mr. Gonesh Chandra Pal. After six months, through an election of the higher convening committee, a permanent committee was formed, in which the President was the late Abdul Gafur and the General Secretary was Mr. Gonesh Chandra Pal. At that time, the Tangail Circle had around 40 members. Currently, due to the activities of the circle, the number of members has increased to approximately 82.
